Mango Pineapple Smoothie

This Mango Pineapple Smoothie combines the deliciously refreshing taste of mango and pineapple fruit with the warming golden milk spices to make a tasty breakfast that’s satisfying and delicious.



284g frozen mango

170g frozen pineapple

42g coconut chunks

142g mango yoghurt*

1 tbsp golden milk spices**

368g coconut or almond milk

handful of ice

Prep Time: 5 mins

Servings: 3 glasses


Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a blender and pulse for 1-2 minutes until smooth. You can adjust the thickness of the smoothie by adding more milk to it.

What are the spices in Golden Milk?

Golden Milk is a traditional Ayurvedic drink that has been savoured for centuries and used to support the mind and body in a number of ways. The golden milk powder which is added to milk to create the warm drink can be purchased in your health store or online, but you can also easily mix it at home. Here are the ingredients needed:

3 tbsp ground turmeric (the main ingredient)

2 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground black pepper (it activates and enhances the active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin)

¼ tsp cardamom

Note: For this smoothie recipe you only need 1 tbsp of this golden milk mix. Store leftover golden milk in a jar.

If you cannot find mango yoghurt try original, vanilla or coconut flavours.
